Tailored Guidance and Strategic Support for Forward-Thinking Independent Schools

As a school leader, you have a vision for the transformative initiatives and big work that’s needed to move your programs and faculty forward. From re-imagining the daily schedule, to enhancing the leadership skills of your department chairs, to implementing teacher feedback systems, to articulating and deepening curriculum, to embedding student-centered teaching practices, and more…

Your high-impact initiatives shouldn’t sit on the back burner.

For your strategic ambitions, Trey Education provides valuable thought partnership, experience, knowledge, and facilitation needed to bridge the gap between aspiration and implementation.

We’ll help you design systems, build capacity, and develop culture to make the lasting, impactful changes you envision.

Bridge the Gap Between Aspiration and implementation

With a focus on relationships, Trey Education works alongside independent school administrators and leaders–not as “drop-in” consultants, but rather as your long-term trusted partners in moving your programs and people forward.

While all our services are custom and responsive to the mission, context, and aspirations of each partner school, most of our projects involve several of the following six elements to catalyze lasting transformation.

THOUGHT PARTNERSHIP & INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT

One-on-one support provides you with a go-to sounding board, reflective question-asker, generative idea partner, and leadership guide. For senior leaders and middle managers, trusted thought partnership is critical for transformation.

PROFESSIONAL LEARNING

Custom-designed and brilliantly facilitated in-person, virtual, and hybrid programs provide your faculty a learning journey to develop specific skills and ways of thinking, thereby building capacity and shifting culture.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The skills to lead a team and oversee programs are rarely taught in the transition from classroom to administrative office. Targeted leadership development and training for teacher-leaders and senior administrators are game-changing for individual, departmental, grade-level, and divisional effectiveness.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT & PROJECT DESIGN

Be it an effective teacher feedback architecture, a robust faculty onboarding program, or a signature school program, it’s invaluable to have outside partnership and bandwidth to develop and bring to life programs and projects that change a division and last over time.

FACILITATION

We create centered, safe, and generative spaces for teams and groups to effectively design, dialogue, and share. From design thinking sprints to supporting teams in change or conflict, skillful facilitation for groups can unlock possibilities.

COMMUNITY & CULTURE

The biggest lever for effective change is through community and culture. That’s why our work always begins with an understanding of where people are and approaches strategic change from a cultural (rather than merely operational) framework.

Let’s Move Forward, Together

Trey Education is grounded in the belief that change, growth, and empowerment are intertwined. We prioritize authentic relationships, responsive design, and collaboration in our work. Here are just a few of the benefits of partnering with Trey Education.

Customized, Co-Created Solutions

Instead of canned offerings, Trey Education provides tailored strategies and collaboration that align with the unique culture and goals of each independent school, forged through a close, responsive partnership.

Lasting & Sustainable Change

Trey Education is committed to long-term improvement and meaningful transformation rather than quick, temporary fixes. Favoring substance over splash, we work to ensure our impact lasts well beyond any scope of engagement.

Empowerment Through Expertise

Trey Education provides you access to and partnership with a range of experts with specialized knowledge and broad experience, thus empowering school leaders to be more informed, thoughtful, and effective in their work.

Effective Facilitation & Guidance

Sometimes, trusted facilitation and perspective from outside your school community is the most effective way to move the needle when facilitating complex team conversations, evaluating programs or proposed changes, or navigating changes in a school community. Lean on Trey Education to open up dialogue and overcome internal biases.

Innovative Approaches

We focus on innovative solutions and best practices to help schools and leaders think outside the box. We watch what’s at the forefront of education, and we know when to bring in fresh ideas and when to keep things simple.

I get it, and I’ve been there.

You’re trying to do it all–work with students, families, and faculty; ensure excellent teaching and learning and best-in-class programming; trouble-shoot daily issues while casting a vision for the future; and inspire your team while managing constraints and relational dynamics.

It’s a lot!

As a career independent school teacher and leader, I know this first-hand. There’s just not a lot of thought partnership, added bandwidth, and individual or project support built into schools. I know these resources can be transformative for teachers and administrators, and I founded Trey Education to provide just that–to partner with independent school leaders looking to move their people and programs forward.

Having worked with schools and associations across the country, I’ve been inspired by the heart and vision leaders bring to their work, and I’ve been amazed and humbled by the kind of impact they can have when we partner.

If you have a vision of what’s possible in your team, division, or school and are ready to see what’s possible when you don’t have to go it alone, let’s talk.
